Ramdhura is a small, tranquil hamlet in the Kalimpong district, situated at an elevation of about 5,500 feet. It offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range and the Teesta River. The name Ramdhura comes from the Nepali words meaning "beautiful village". It is a perfect offbeat destination for travellers looking to escape the crowds and enjoy the slow rhythm of village life.

Itinerary

1

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra. Drive to Ramdhura (approx. 3 hrs). Evening walk to a viewpoint for sunset. Overnight stay.

2

Morning panoramic Himalayan view from Ramdhura. Visit Delo Hill viewpoint and Kalimpong local sightseeing (Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, Cactus Garden, Tharpa Choling Monastery). Overnight stay.

Sunrise view of Kanchenjunga. After breakfast drive back to NJP/Bagdogra.
